Important Dates

June 29th & 30th BVNE National Championships in Pompano Beach, FL.

Cancellations and Transfers

The cancelation fee for all National Championship tournaments is $100.00 NO EXCEPTIONS. The last day to cancel is June 3rd, 2024 for this event. No transfers are between BVNE Nationals and Kauai Bikini Nationals. Please make sure you sign up for the correct event as there are no exceptions.

Regardless of what age division you won in you must “Play Your Age”. If you won in bid in the 12U division and you or your partner will be 13 years old the day of the event you will need to sign up in the 13U division.

BID NEEDED TO PLAY, in this particular event: If you earned a bid and need the number you can email daron@teamwave.net. If you need a bid we do consider at large bids upon request within 60 days of the tournament.

Terms & Conditions

I understand that, upon registration, I am guaranteed a spot in which full team refunds will be granted only until July 3rd, 2024 (see refund policy). After this point, entry will be non-refundable. I also understand that all players must be no older than the division they are playing in the day of the event. Finally, I understand that player information provided shall be made available to college coaches, as part of BVNE’s service to connect colleges and players.

Day of Tournament Layout

Day 1 Pool Play

Afternoon pools may be created to accommodate more teams. Times are subject to change!
Match play in pools for 3 and 4. All 5 team pools play one game to 28. We do our best to try and have all 4 team pools but due to cancelations there may be a 3 or 5 team pool.

Reffing

All reffing teams are responsible for entering live score on a cell phone. One person from each reffing team will need to have a cell phone charged, and ready to go.

Day 2 Playoffs*

Day two: All teams will advance to playoff brackets. Brackets may be changed to Gold and Silver, or Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper divisions if necessary based on time, capacity, and weather. Brackets are subject to change. Playoffs in all divisions are single elimination with the FIRST ROUND of playoffs as a match, thereafter will be one game to 21 no cap win by 2.

Playoffs will be posted in Volleyball Life after all pools have been finished and locked.

On day 2 make sure you report to your assigned court, for reffing duty, 30 min prior to the match. All teams have 10 min after the scheduled start time before a forfeit will be issued. This will be smooth if everyone follows Volleyball Life and reports promptly to the correct courts. If you are waiting for a team, you must report it to the front desk so we can start the clock.

Depending on the number of team playoffs will break down as listed below and are subject to change:

Teams from 3 and 4 team pools will advance to the following playoffs rounds:

1st in pool GOLD
2nd in pool SILVER
3rd in pool BRONZE
4th in pool COPPER

If you are in a 5 team pools teams will advance as follows:

1st and 2nd in pool GOLD
3rd in pool SILVER
4th in pool BRONZE
5th in pool COPPER

If playoffs are just GOLD and SILVER divisions

The top two teams will go to GOLD
The bottom two or three teams will go to SILVER

*Depending on the total number of teams playoffs may be GOLD and SILVER for smaller divisions.

Center court finals with video for all GOLD divisions with medals, prizes & photos.

Refund Policy

How to Qualify

This is a bid only event for girls 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, & 18U
Play in one of our BVNE BID Qualifiers.
ONLY ONE PARTNER IS REQUIRED TO HAVE WON A BID.
BID WINNERS CAN PLAY WITH A PARTNER OF THEIR CHOICE.
All players must have a BVNE membership.
This is a BVNE “Play Your Age” Event. An athlete can always move up but never move down in BVNE.

Where to fly into

You will want to fly into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA). The tournament site is located about 20/45 minutes away by car.

Rooms start at $159 a night through our booking link above. The hotel is 5 minutes or less walk to the tournament. With many restaurants of various prices and menus nearby, you won’t need a rental car if you don’t want one. The Home2 Suites “2Qns Studio Suite Ns City View Balcony” for $179 a night is the best value for space and beds.

When will the tournament end?

Each division will have a different set time for playoffs. Please be advised that these times are subject to change and are just an estimated time.
10U and 12U division play on center court first with the rest of the divisions following.
16U and 18U will play last on center court.
Day 2 will end depending on the number of teams signed up.
The closer we get to the event we will give more information on times, but plan on ending after 1pm all the way up to 3-4pm.
