To a lot of student athletes, especially those in division 1 schools, this is big news. Student-athletes can now seek transfer to another college without the approval of their coaches. To put it another way, coaches can no longer block student athlete transfers. Anything related to NCAA regulations is always difficult to follow given the myriad of regulations that have been created over the years for everyone’s own interests and goals.
